Parent Information Evening, Tuesday 30th August

​Parents and Caregivers are invited to attend our next Parent Information Evening on Tuesday, 30th August at 6.30pm, in the Professional Learning Centre (PLC), next to the school Administration building.
One in four young Australians currently has a mental health condition. One in six young Australians is currently experiencing an anxiety condition (beyondblue factsheet)
Dr Peta Lilley, Clinical Psychologist, is the guest speaker at our next evening on the topic of Anxiety. What is Anxiety? Are there different types? How does it present and would I know if my child had anxiety?
What can I do to support my student at home, at school, or in the community?
Dr Lilley will address this issue and the presentation will be followed by a panel to answer your questions. The panel will consist of Dr Lilley, Sam Kilby, Psychologist from Headspace Taringa, a Guidance Officer and Rose Hargrave, Youth Health Nurse.
