Absences, Illness and Continuity of Learning

Dear Parents/Caregivers,

This week has seen a large number of absences. Thank you to families, who are following advice to keep students at home who are unwell.

We understand and respect the decision of some of our families to keep students home as a precautionary measure. At this stage, our teachers are supporting the continuing nature of teaching and learning programs for students at school and we are unable to provide individualised learning via email for students who have been kept home. However, Kenmore SHS is in an advantageous position; teachers have been working in the online OneNote platform, which can be accessed from home.

Please do not email individual teachers and request work for students as this will be available in the OneNote. Teachers will be continuing to keep up to date with these OneNotes, over the coming week.

Whilst it is not realistic in these circumstances to replicate our usual academic programs remotely, I can assure you that your child's learning can continue.

Paul Robertson
Executive Principal
