On Monday 2 August, the Queensland Government announced an extended lockdown to slow the spread of COVID-19 (please refer to the Queensland Government website). The safety of our students, staff and community are of paramount importance to us and we will continue to comply with the directives of the Queensland Government.
Students will move to a home-based online learning model from Tuesday 3 August 2021 until Friday 6 August 2021 (Week 4, Term 3). During this lockdown period, our school will only be open for vulnerable children and children of essential workers. All attending students and staff are required to wear face masks.
Parents and caregivers are encouraged to check their emails regarding the current lockdown and learning arrangements at Kenmore State High School. If you have not recieved communication from the school via email, please check your Junk Email folder in the first instance. It is important that we have up-to-date contact information for parents and guardians so that we can keep you informed.
