Ken-X classrooms in E Block have recently been refurbished with
new collaborative and flexible furniture, creating a modern 21st Century learning space for our Program of Excellence students.
In addition to new screens, students now have a variety of seating options to assist with the development of their collaborative and creative skills in Ken-X. The students have access to round tables and booth seating for group learning activities and projects, and these tables are also within close proximity to our Vivi-enabled screens where students can share work digitally.
The collaborative learning space also has whiteboard desks which the students can use for drawing, designing or even solving maths problems. Finally, new higher table options allow students to either sit or stand at the tables. Students have described the new furniture as very comfortable, modern, collaborative and fun.
Ken-X is a three year program designed to engage and challenge our brightest young minds to be successful in a rapidly-evolving future. Students undertaking this program have exposure to new and innovative learning experiences, and solve real-world problems with the aid of emerging technologies, viewed through the lens of self, community and the world.
