Program costs

Students participating in the instrumental and vocal program will be charged $200 per annum. This fee covers the cost of music, folders, music uniform (waistcoat and bowtie), competition entry fees, some meals, bus hire, purchase and maintenance of instruments, instructors’ costs, accompanist’s costs and administration fees.

Families with more than one child in the program will be charged $175 per student.

Students are able to hire the following instruments, if they are available, for $300 per year: tuba, euphonium, bass trombone, French horn, baritone and tenor saxophone, bassoon, bass clarinet and double bass. Students in senior ensembles will be required to purchase black trousers, a white shirt, black socks and black shoes to wear with the supplied waistcoat and bowtie.

Students in junior ensembles will be required to purchase black trousers, black socks, black shoes and a black music polo. The polo is to be purchased from the uniform shop.

Some optional activities may be available to students in ensembles during the year which will attract an additional fee.
