Queensland State Championship Regatta

​​​​​​There were outstanding results from our students at the 2022 Queensland State Championship Regatta held at Wyaralong Dam in January. The highlight of the weekend was Lachlan Brooks (Year 10) taking out the State Championship, winning gold in the Championship Men's Under 16 Single Scull.​​

Congratulations to the following students who also achieved outstanding results at the regatta:

  • Katelyn Brooks (Year 11) - Silver in the Championship Women's Under 19 Quad Scull
  • Madison McCue (Year 10) - Silver in the Championship Women's Under 17 Quad Scull (Coxed). The crew was coxed by Chloe Robertson (Year 7).
  • Sophie Robertson (Year 8) - Silver in the Championship Women​'s Under 16 Quad Scull (Coxed). The crew was coxed by Kaitlyn Burgess (Year 8).

It was a fantastic weekend of racing with clubs from all over Queensland and Northern NSW competing and was one of the largest State Championship Regattas held in many years.
