Australian Maths CompetitionTeams of 5 students compete in an interschool maths tournament. School may enter 2–3 teams per year level.7–12TBASchool
Maths Challenge for Young Australians (Challenge Stage)One of the world’s largest school-based mathematics competitions with more than 14 million entries since 1978. Students complete a test of approximately 1 hour (depending on year level).7–10A three week period from March–JuneCompleted at home
Australian Intermediate Maths Olympiad (AIMO)A problem solving enrichment activity for mathematically interested students in years 7–10. Students complete 6 problems over a 3 week period. Year 7 & 8 students enter in the Junior division and 9 & 10 in intermediate. A more extended Enrichment Stage may follow.7–10TBASchool

Year 7–8 Quiz

Australian Informatics Olympiad (AIO)A national computer programming competition focussed on problem solving through programming skills. Prior programming experience is required. Intermediate paper up to year 10 and Senior for 11–12.7–12TBASchool
