Kenmore State High School is a highly regarded school in the western suburbs of Brisbane. Founded in 1972, the school has grown to an enrolment of 1,994 in 2020. The school is located in a very attractive setting on the delightful Moggill Creek. The local community is very supportive of our school and encourages its young people to pursue education as a priority.
Kenmore enjoys an excellent reputation and has outstanding achievements across the academic, cultural, citizenship and sporting areas. We have outstanding staff who have contributed much to the lives of our students over the years. Inspirational teaching and quality learning are cornerstones of our school.
The school is recognised for excellence in the academic arena, with our students scoring very high consistently and often above State and International means. We have a number of excellence programs that offer specialist opportunities including German Immersion, Music Extension and KEN-X programs.
