Temporary Part-Time Teacher Aide
Kenmore State High School is inviting applications for a temporary Teacher Aide to join our inclusion team replacing a staff member on leave. The position is 30 hours per week plus an additional 12.5% as part of the Standard Job Model (SJM). The role will be from Monday to Friday starting early in Term 2 until 27 June 2025, with a possibility of extension.
Your Opportunity:
Working as a Teacher Aide you will:
- Contribute to the provision of a quality educational service by assisting and supporting teachers with the preparation and enhancement of learning materials and associated activities.
- Communicate effectively and display a high level of interpersonal skills supporting our staff and students
- Report to the Head of Special Education Services (HOSES)
About the Role:
As a Teacher Aide, you will:
- Display respect and empathy for students with high level needs
- Displaying confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitively to students and their families
- Assisting teaching staff with playground and bus supervision
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the role and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or Business Manager

Casual School Cleaner
Kenmore State High School is currently seeking a casual on-call school cleaner for general housekeeping and cleaning duties. You will be working in a team but responsible for a range of different areas throughout the school which could consist of classrooms, bathrooms, offices and outside areas.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- General housekeeping and cleaning duties - this will vary depending on what is required.
- Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job. Please note that work will include bending, lifting and cleaning across the large campus.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.
- We are looking for reliable, hardworking and trustworthy individuals who have good attention to detail, can work independently, and take pride in their work.
- Must have a Blue Card or be willing to get one.
- Must have own car/transport.
