Congratulations Abbey Newitt (Year 7) who recently represented Met West at the QLD State Championships for Soccer in Tingalpa. They played Peninsular (top of the other pool) in the play offs who had remained undefeated, and Met West were the only team to hold them scoreless. As a result, Met West finished Runner Up in the competition. Abbey was voted by both teams as ‘Player of the Match’ in that top of the table clash, showing her strength and determination. Well done Abbey!
