Expressions of Interest for Year 7 2028 Programs of Excellence
In 2022, we updated the application processes for Programs of Excellence including Ken-X, German Immersion (GIEP) and Music Extension (MEX) to occur when students are in Year 5, to enable us to work with them in Year 6 to successfully transition to high school.
Current Year 5 families applying for Year 7 in 2028 in one of the school's Programs of Excellence are required to complete an online Expression of Interest and entrance examination (Ken-X & GIEP) or audition (MEX), with applications closing Friday 9 October 2026. Entrance Examinations will take place on Saturday 31 October 2026.
How to apply:
1. Complete the Expression of Interest Form - Expressions of interest link will be available on the 9th September 2026
Opens: Wednesday 9 September 2026
Close: Friday 9 October 2026
2. Make payment of the $200 application fee by Friday 9 October 2026 via an app called Qkr!. Refer to the Qkr! how-to guide (PDF, 1MB)
3. Successful applicants will receive an email following the closing date with information on how to book a testing or audition time.
4. Book your test time/s using the link in your email once received.
