The School Chaplain seeks to assist teachers and parents in fostering the physical, mental, social and spiritual development of students within a supportive and caring environment. Through pastoral care, provides emotional and spiritual support for the students, staff and families.
The Chaplain operates from Christian principles and values, while being sensitive to other spiritual and ethical insights. The Chaplaincy service is therefore, available to all students without prejudice, and with respect for each person's right to hold their own beliefs and values.
The Chaplain, along with a few regular volunteers, seeks to be a positive role model for the students and provide programs which create opportunities for exploring matters of life and faith.
The Chaplain works with and complements the existing school's support services, and encourage students to live to their full potential and make good life choices.
