Since 2015, the school has offered two models for student access to technology devices in the classroom and at home: School-managed Choose Your Own Device (CYOD) and a self-managed Bring Your Own Device (BYOD). These models will continue in 2025.
Our extensive market review sees our school again partnered with Acer and 2025 ordering closes next week.
This year our timelines are again tight, with global factors affecting production and delivery timeframes, particularly within the IT industry. We want to ensure we have done everything possible to see order fulfillment on time to start 2025. The relevant page of the Selection Guide (CYOD or BYOD) is due back by Wednesday 13th November. You can submit a paper copy at the finance desk of the main office, or submit electronically to XYOD@kenmoreshs.eq.edu.au.

As per the Selection Guide, for all CYOD purchases there is the option to pay only the 50% deposit this year, with the balance due at the start of school 2025 (28 January 2025).
If your CYOD order is missed by our advertised deadline and you opt in later it will mean a long wait. If choosing to BYOD please also advise us by the advertised deadline so we can begin resourcing those requirements as well.
