Nominations are now open for the school's 2024 Year 10
and Year 12 ADF Future Innovators Awards!
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) Future Innovators
Award has been designed to recognise recipients' science and mathematics
abilities while highlighting the value the Navy, Army and Air Force place on
STEM skills and STEM career opportunities within Defence. The awards are a
means to formally recognise those students who have demonstrated motivation and
innovation in the areas of STEM within their school, and who display strong
personal ethical values such as doing one's best.
Recipients of a ADF Future Innovators Award will receive
a certificate and a financial reward - $250 for a Year 10 student and $550
awarded to a Year 12 student – which will be presented at the school's Premier
Awards Evening in November.
Students can nominate themselves or a peer (must be in Year
10 or 12 at KSHS). Nomination forms can be collected from the Student Services.
Completed nominations are due to the Student Services by end of
day Friday 26th July 2024 (Week 3, Term 3).
